Money Back in Circulation
There’s money waiting to help you share heritage experiences within Anne Arundel County’s Four Rivers Heritage Area, encompassing the Severn, South, Rhode and West rivers. Grants up to $2,500 are funded with our tax dollars, disbursed through the Maryland Heritage Area Authority’s revolving fund refreshed with $3 million annually.
To get a share, your organization needs a bright idea to develop innovative programs, partnerships, exhibits, tours and events. The sesquicentennial of emancipation in Maryland is a favored theme, as well as projects that include new technology, foster sustainable practices at heritage sites and create new heritage-related programming in the arts.
Each mini-grants must be fully matched with local money.
