The Coolest School Supply
“What’s cooler than being cool? Having a library card,” says ‘Joe Cool’ Snoopy. That’s because kids who use the library do better in school.
Library cards are free and can be used at any Maryland public library for e-books, e-magazines, downloadable movies and music, reference resources, HelpNow! homework help and Brainfuse free online tutoring.
This month, you’ll find library card applications at Wal-Mart and Office Depot in Prince Frederick; the Anne Arundel County Fair; bilingual storytime at Marley Station Mall Sept. 11; bilingual storytime at the Village at Waugh Chapel Sept. 15; One Maryland One Book at Glen Burnie High School Sept 30; and at various AACo Back to School nights.
