In August, meet our special guest: Globe Collection and Printing Press!

–FREE OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES! Stop by our pop-up tent outside the Museum and meet representatives from Globe Collection and Printing Press, now operated at Baltimore’s MICA. In the 1950’s, Globe Printing created vibrant posters advertising top entertainers at Carr’s Beach in Annapolis. Learn more about the printing process and Globe’s signature bold and eye-catching style.

–Where else can you visit the beach – but stay in air conditioning? Head inside the Museum and explore Summer’s Legacy. Learn about the history of Carr’s, Sparrows, and Elktonia Beaches, and the recent preservation of a portion of Elktonia Beach. Plus, check out two new objects on loan from the Smithsonian Institution that will connect you to the rich history of Carr’s Beach (admission required).
